This garden netting insect mesh will keep insect pests off your crops, Veggiemesh has small holes which stop insects from eating your crops. Lay directly over your crop, hoops or cages.
Which insects does Veggiemesh® keep out?
Veggiemesh® will keep out a wide range of garden pests including cabbage root fly, carrot fly, cabbage white butterfly, pea moth, leek moth, cutworm, onion fly and many species of aphids. If you have flea beetle, leaf miner or whitefly you may need to Veggiemesh®  Ultrafine as the holes are smaller.
What other benefits are there to using Veggiemesh?
Veggiemesh will also protect your crops from mild frosts, wind, hail and heavy rain
Will Veggiemesh® allow bees to pollinate?
Vegetables may be covered all year round, from planting right up until harvest. If you are growing fruit, just lift the netting during flowering if the crop depends on pollination by bees.
Where can I use Veggiemesh®?
Veggiemesh® is light enough so it can be laid directly over your crops but also works perfectly over any garden hoops and garden cages.
Please note, that if you are laying the mesh directly over the crop, allow enough slack for the growth. Once the netting has been draped over, bury the edges or use netting pegs and clips, ensuring there are no gaps.

I have only just received my veggiemesh this week but it was easy to cut to the right size and place around my young cherry trees to protect them from birds and insects. I can't comment on durability as the mesh is new nor can I comment yet on whether it will be successful at keeping the birds and insects away from my cherries and leaves! Fingers crossed.

Very useful to be able to order by the metre. I could order exactly the size I needed so no waste. I have used this type of netting before to cover tunnels which contained brassicas. Now that I know it is carrot fly-proof I will sow some between the cabbages and make full use of the space.

Seems to be very strong and have used to build tunnels with my ldpe piping for my 6 metre raise beds. Have not given it five stars yet until I know it keeps out the carrot fly and how well it wears in the long run. Only time will tell with these two factors but so far very pleased with product and would recommend.
