Ultra-fine insect netting is for the smaller insect pests which damage your vegetables including flea beetle, allium leaf miner and whitefly damage.
What does ultra-fine Veggiemesh® insect netting keep out?
Ultra-fine Veggiemesh insect netting is a top-quality ultra-fine garden netting. It works the same way as standard Veggiemesh, but it has smaller holes which enable you to grow fruit and vegetables free from insect damage including flea beetle, allium leaf miner and whitefly damage.
Where can I use ultra-fine Veggiemesh® insect netting?
Veggiemesh Ultra-fine insect netting may also be used to screen glasshouse doors and vents, and windows to exclude insects. It can also be laid directly over crops or just lay over hoops or garden cages.
How much light and air does ultra-fine Veggiemesh® insect netting allow?
The light and air passage are the same as our standard Veggiemesh because the yarn thickness on the Ultra-fine Veggiemesh insect netting is smaller than standard Veggiemesh.
We now have netting bags available in ultra-fine Veggiemesh and fruit tree sleeves.

Replaces fleece on my carrot cage. The birds kept on tearing off fleece for nest material Hope fully the mesh will be resistant to such attacks

I've only been using it for a few days but has kept out all the pests & has stayed in one piece after all the gale force winds we have had this week.

This seems to be quite tough and I am hoping it will last. It's more see through than I thought at first so I can see everything growing. Seems to be keeping insects off so far.

Strong. Gives excellent protection, especially for brassicas. I've supported mine on sticks topped with plant pots.
