This product is not cheap and this is the first time I have tried it. Light in weight, easy to spread and binds with watering in. I have had trouble with wood chip Mulch and slugs in the past and I wanted to see how Strulch works with slug and snail resistance. Let's see how it works in the coming year. Impressed so far, it's natural and the RHS use it.

It looks fine, although I haven't spread it over the garden yet. it seems to be good value for money.

Lightweight, weed suppressant and used at Wisley - testament to its quality.

Strulch is simple to use and can be applied to the borders very easily either by hand or I found a scoop useful. Strulch is lightweight and has a pleasant aroma, it also makes the borders look tidy. Make sure you weed out before putting around your plants. I hope it keeps the slugs and snails at bay!!!

Repeat purchase after last year's success as slug deterrent and mulch.

This isn't the cheapest mulch out there, but it's great. I only use it every second year, and it does a good job of suppressing weeds, although the slugs and snails still seem to get through if it's really wet, but I think that's inevitable. Easy to use, no unpleasant smell, breaks down into the soil over time. A really good product.
