“This isn't the cheapest mulch out there, but it's great. I only use it every second year, and it does a good job of suppressing weeds, although the slugs and snails still seem to get through if it's really wet, but I think that's inevitable. Easy to use, no unpleasant smell, breaks down into the soil over time. A really good product.”

“Being disabled myself it was light enough to lift onto the raised bed. However was packed in tightly, but have been able to spread the contents over the earth as necessary. I've not planted any seeds yet as we've had a good fall of snow, but it's looking good. There is no way I could cope with a large bag of farmyard manure.”

“Great light feeling product. Easy to spread around plants. I mostly used it for my strawberries and put some around raspberries and the kale plants. I thought I'd use the leftover in my greenhouse as it kept attracting slugs so i put some in there to protect my spinach plants that already suffered bit of slug damage here and there. But i regret doing that as now they seem to be dying the smell got quite strong in there. So i think its best not to use it in greenhouses or so just use it around outdoor plant.”
