An excellent tool that does just what it says and not too heavy to handle. It's reassuring to see there has been no need to change the design since I inherited one 20 years ago and still going strong. The new one is for a friend.

I have been looking for something like this forever. Brambles invade over our rear fence and the usual clearance involved lacerations and much blood. Now I can snip brambles at distance and it is wonderful. Ladders are not needed to trim our pleached trees and life is so much easier. I bought the 1.5m version, which in turn extends another metre or so. Brilliant tool. I do have a long branch lopper, but the snapper is much lighter and the design makes cutting easier. Buy it.

Fantastic piece of equipment. I needed something to cut the bramble underneath a wide hawthorn hedge. This gadget was perfect for the job as you can get it into awkward places.

Excellent for getting to those high places. The gripper on the scissor works really well so that you can get your flowers without them falling down

Darlac snappers - a brilliant buy. Very sharp, very easy to manoeuvre. No more being on my hands and knees to deadhead or walking through the border to reach them

Just what I needed to reach those awkward stems without having to use a ladder

After seeing a similar pair of long handled secateurs used on garden visit a few years ago I have looked in many garden centres with no success, now found them online at Gardening Naturally. They are a great tool allowing me to reach to the back of my raised borders and they hold the cut stems so they can be dropped into my trug, they are also lightweight, just a brilliant piece of kit for disabled and able bodied people alike I would definitely recommend this tool it's worth the five stars I've given.
