“Only thing that makes it worth my while to grow potatoes and brassicas. Helps with slug-prone hostas and ligularia too. Since metaldehyde was (rightly) withdrawn, slug pellets just don't work for me.”

“Arrived promptly- just waited until we had some rain after the dry spell. Have used before and they do seem to reduce the slugs in our garden.”

“The nematodes have to be consistently kept damp. In one of the longest and driest early summer periods recently it is almst impossible to do this. The earliest availabity it TOO late in the season. To be useful in Cornwall they ideally to be used in March and again in May. Late April / May it too late for first application”

Hi, Thanks for your review. We recommend nematodes are okay to use if the soil temperature is above the required level, and the area can be kept well-watered for the best reseults with nematodes, they will still work without this but won't be as effective as watered in.
