Last year was a bad year for plum/gage/damson trees, loads of plum moths around. There were maggots even in the sloes I picked. This year loads of blossom already on the trees so these refills will help to indicate what's it's going to be like this year.

They did the trick last year when for the first time we had edible plums!

I used this trap in a plum tree last year and next tree down the orchard was a damson. The trap caught a large number of moths and the subsequent fruit was much less infested than in the previous year when every fruit had a resident plum moth larva.
