“Very difficult to fit and keep on, idea is good. Have managed to spike the lawn with difficulty, and spikes are strong so will continue as makes deep holes.”

“Bought for our daughter. She found the spikes worked well. The 'shoes' are more robust than those with metal spikes. The tapered spikes make the 'shoes' easier to lift from the ground and leave decent size holes in the soil to improve the lawn.”

“These do the trick perfectly. Yes they are a bit of a faff to tie on to stay on but once youve for them on tight they holed my garden really quickly. Would recommend.”

“I have very stony and sandy soil and aerating the lawn is extremely hard. The rotary devices don't work here and I have bent my garden fork trying to do it that way. I have to say that wasn't immediately impressed when these arrived as I had expected the spikes to be metal. However, I have aerated the entire lawn with no problems. The plastic spikes are tough and have done the job. I have found them to be a little difficult to keep on my feet but if I spend more time getting them very well done up they only slip a little.”

“The lawn spike shoes seem very sturdy with integral spikes. You only have to attach the straps. They stayed on once fastened correctly and I was able to spike the whole lawn easily. Very pleased.”
