“very snug fit, you need to apply pressure and twist the 16mm poles on. I see this as a benefit as it isnt loose and wont come apart easily. 13mm poles slide on easier but still have a good snug fit and arent going anywhere”

“These are designed to fit the aluminium poles bought from same place; if using with heavier-duty 16mm poles bought elsewhere, they are a very tight fit (and may involve widening the hole slightly). However, you end up with a very strong construction - far more rigid than with the ball joiners we've used in the past”
