Irrigatia weather responsive SMART irrigation controllers uniquely use solar power to detect the weather and alter watering according to the conditions and the season & providing plants with the precise irrigation & to help them thrive.
Easy to install and set up, and once in, the C-24 will water automatically with minimal supervision; ideal for small to medium gardens or allotments and can be used for pots, raised beds, hanging baskets, vegetables and greenhouses. It's great for tree and shrub establishment too.
Unlike conventional timer systems, by watering little and often, the soil stays moist and water does not run off, saving you water. A 200 litre water barrel typically lasts 3 weeks. No mains, wires, or hosepipes needed nor heavy watering cans to lug water around the garden.
The kit includes the C24 SMART controller with integrated pump, inlet filter, anti-siphon, water level sensor, 15m tube, 12 drippers, stakes, tees, 3 x AA rechargeable batteries (preinstalled - please remove & charge the batteries externally for 20 to 30 minutes before 1st use as they may be flat).
The new designs offers the following extra benefits:
-New push button control, for scrolling through settings
-LCD screen showing how long to next watering, alerts and current setting. This also enables easier fault analysis
-Drippers and T pieces now incorporate improved barb, which is more water tight and allows for quicker and easier assembly
-New pump is more efficient and is housed in a foam rubber case to attenuate its sound

Comes with a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty.

This is a wonderfully simple design. The solar panel charges the internal batteries, at a rate you can control. Once every ~3 hours, the pump comes on and drains the batteries. That's it. On sunnier days, the solar panel receives more energy, so the batteries charge more, so the pump runs for longer when it's switched on. Very elegant. It's not internet connected. There's no bluetooth. There's no subscription service, or firmware to update, or any risk that it'll stop working if Irrigatia go out of business. It's actually designed to be user-servicable. In this day and age, that's quite astonishing! That said, it does struggle if your drippers are at different heights - the tubing is quite susceptable to siphons and hills so if your pots and beds are at different heights you will need to fiddle about to try to ensure water comes out of all of the drippers. Ultimately it's only a small weak pump, and it can't really produce much pressure. But, with a bit of careful fiddling and tweaking, it seems to work well.

Easy to set up (especially if you watch one of the short online guides). Seems to be doing a great job of watering the vegetables in our new polytunnel.

I've had one for a few months together with the seep hose extension kit, and it's an effective way of watering my greenhouse beds (using the seep hose means I'm not limited on the number of plants). Note that there are switches inside to disable the alarm and water level checks, so no need to cut wires as seems to have been the case with earlier versions. The pump is a little noisy as others have mentioned, but otherwise fine and simple to set up (just make sure the filter which fits on the inlet isn't full of air).

Bought one which was set up easily. Immediately decided to order a second one. They make a big difference to watering when on holiday & easier when I care for the plants! Happy neighbour & happy gardener. Win! Win!

Had product for about 10 days now and so far it behaves as expected. Easy to install and setup. Presently watering just tomatoes/peppers in greenhouse which only requires the minimum setting. Expecting to expand system over next few weeks.
