“Makes it a lot easier to water the plants and dead head them. I initially thought they were broken as I tried them without the hanging baskets on and they wouldn't stay extended, after a while I realised the weight of the basket holds them down and the ratchet mechanism holds them in place at the required height. They are much easier to use than I expected and can see where the compost is dry as the leaves were acting like an umbrella before and the water used to run off instead of wetting the compost.”
