“Buying the concentrate is definitely the most cost-effective way of buying the product. One tip when mixing with water is to add the concentrate to the correct volume of water. Doing it the other way around creates a vast volume of foam which makes filling the container a pain. Whilst no product I have used has ever kept slugs and snails off entirely, this product works well in discouraging them. The product does wash off in the rain so, if you want to maintain protection, you need to reapply it after rain. I have not had any instances of the product adversely affecting the plants I have sprayed it on. I do not apply it in strong sunlight, as per the instructions.”

“In recent years I have tried not to use products which actually kill the slugs and snails as these products can harm other insects and wildlife. Grazers Slugs & Snails I understand makes plants unpalatable to the slugs and snails. The product does appear to help to this end. There is certainly much less damage to leaves on treated plants. You do however have to reapply the product at least weekly and, if it rains, reapply immediately. The concentrate is particularly useful as I can load up my 8-litre sprayer and spray all the vulnerable plants in my garden in one go. I have found that when filling a sprayer, fill with water first and then add the concentrate otherwise you will get a mountain of foam!”
