It is excellent, not too heavy but sturdy so doesn't flex too much.

I'm very impressed by this telescopic pole, which I purchased alongside the bypass lopper head (sourced elsewhere). I've not had a proper chance to use it other than setting it up, but initial impressions are excellent. The locking mechanism seems very sturdy, and I think it will work well at height. It's obviously got a bit of weight to it. I also have a Silky Zubat one-extension pole saw (the longest version) which is very light and therefore compatible with being up a sturdy ladder. I think this Darlac pole (two-extension) would be more of a challenge up a ladder with its weight, as it benefits from some extra stability. I imagine for extended periods I might find myself using it with the base of the pole planted on the floor – we'll see. Anyway for the price I'm very happy, and should work for my needs as a gardener. Thank you Darlac!

this pole, with the basket, was a game changer. Scaling the trees was always an acrobatic event and i still was unable to reach the fruit. No climbing, easy picking apples. Picking quince in particular was especially rewarding. Usually the fruit is out of reach and falls part rotten. Now i have a plentify supply in store :)

Very sturdy with strong catches to extend the pole. I choose this over the over Darlac pole which has a twist lock system which I think may fail with time. Unfortunately I haven't been able to use this yet as I ordered a pruner and saw that did not fit this pole.

I have two of these, one with the saw and one with anvil pruners. They are light, oval so they don't bend and reach up a really long way. Fab.
