Our new Eco Ultrafine Veggiemesh is one of the first biodegradable garden nettings in the UK. Offers all the same protection as our standard ultrafine Veggiemesh. Designed to keep out the smallest of pests including whitefly, flea beetle and some smaller aphids
Can be left outdoors and has a minimum lifespan of 3 years. After this it will start to break down into carbon dioxide and water. Made from corn starch. Fully compostable and breaks down into just water and carbon dioxide.
Mesh size 0.85mm x 0.85mm.

“The cabbage whites are on the wing and I have sown a lot of Brassicas this year for the allotment. This looks really good option as I try very hard to reduce the plastic on the plot. I will also use it for shading the leafy veg in this extreme heat. Now it would be good to have a biodegadable winter fleece as well.”

“Bought for my brassicas and looks impressive. It is meant to be good for 3 years, time will tell.....but for me personally, knowing the impact on the environment is minimal is the top priority, so even if it doesn't stand the test of time, I would rather that and re buy than throw away plastic or have is degrading in my soil.”

“Love the net. Fine material. Have been reusing them for 2 years. My veggies are doing so well. Love the fact it is bio-degradable. Well worth it for the environment.”
