Haven't used the fleece yet but can tell it will be really useful later in the year and earlier in the new year.

Oh dear! Within 5 mins of arrival - first attempt to lay the fleece on the hoops and it tore to shreds like wet tissue!!

Good way of protecting your plants against frost and cold winds - and Gardening Naturally sent it very quickly when I realised I'd left it late to do something about the hard frost forecast last week. Last year I lost half my newly-planted winter lettuces about this time of year when we had a sudden hard frost; this year I just managed to spread a layer of fleece over them (still under the cloches) and they've all survived. that's six months' worth of lettuce saved for the cost of a few metres of fleec.e
