“Excellent thermometer & made in Uk . Very clear to read & very satisfying to find out the temperature of my compost heap in January . I shall take its temperature once a month for a year to chart the goings on ! I'd no idea they existed until last month & have often wondered how hot my heap was when I felt the heat from it so it will be interesting to find out.”

“First time buying these. I bought three - one for each heap. Seem good quality. Definitely work, as I tried each one in every heap to see if they gave a consistent reading. Happy to say they did! The fact they got here before Xmas during postal strikes is noteworthy (thank you).”

“I've had a fairly large, solid wooden compost box built and watching the needle on the thermometer move quickly up to 55 degrees is a delight. I demonstrated it to an allotment neighbour who is using 4 pallets strung together and the needle hardly moved off the starting grid. An essential purchase. But don't forget it's there and cover it with a wheel barrow full of manure ...”
