“There is a major problem with the supplied white clips in that they are a fraction too small to clip onto the tubes. It took considerable pressure using these clips to attach the mesh to the tubes only to find they tore the mesh. I have had to impromise using alternative clips. A replacement clip or an alternative method of attaching the mesh is required. With regards to question below the product would have suited my needs had there not been a problem with the clips.”

Hi, I'm sorry to hear this and thanks for your feedback. We had to change the clips last year due to them not being tight even so these extra secure clips are required to ensure they stay on with strong winds. We recommend that the clips are left in place once on, when you dismantle the frame for the winter you can just roll the poles and netting up together meaning the clips stay onto the poles and fabric. “Good materials look like it will last many seasons. Easy to set up ( clips are quite tough to attach but better that than loose). Nice fine mesh.”

“Hopefully this will work, looks potentially effective although would be interested to know how to easily get in and out to e.g. thin, weed, pick etc.. Lost one star as the clips are very very hard to push onto the tube - I am reasonably strong, have slightly arthritic fingers, but had to soften in some boiling water. They need to be firm so they don't slip.”
