“I ordered nematodes to get rid of the chafer grubs in my lawn. They arrived a day earlier than I expected and have now been watered them into my lawn. The instructions were clear and I had no problem following them. Hopefully they'll do their job and destroy the problem but it'll be a while before I know if they've worked.”

“Too early to say whether this batch of nematodes has worked, but I used some last year and our lawns are unexpectedly good this year, so the latest batch was just a precautionary measure. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and it's important to note the use of very coarse watering can rose, or you will need to be shaking the can continually. It's a shame that the weather wasn't as wet as forecast when I wanted to apply the nematodes as it has meant a lot of watering has been necessary - but worthwhile if last year's results are anything to go by.”

“I have waited to write a review so I could see if nematodes worked so was an honest review. I first contacted nematodes direct for advice and sending photographs of the beetles and which I received very helpful reply advising I had the welsh chafer. I ordered a few pkts of nematodes for Sept application and then reapplied an April application. I ordered more square meter than it states just to make sure. I read on the back of the pkt that the welsh chafer was more resistant to the chafer nematodes so was cautious about outcome. The welsh chafer always popped up in their thousands 2nd to 3rd week in May and lasted for 2 weeks. No idea how they arrived as we were clear of bugs until 3 years ago. I have waited much longer just to check they don’t delay their arrival! I feel it fair to leave 100% positive feedback for nematodes direct and their customer service as there has been no sign at all of the welsh chafer. In addition to applying the nematodes I did pick up hundreds with gloves on and disposed of them so that helped reduced egg laying. Easy to apply and to follow instructions. Fully recommend chafer grub nematodes direct.”
