These worked really well last year, in the past I'd been troubled by cabbage root fly, but none at all last year

This is the first time I have used these & so far so good - slugs have left my cabbages & kale alone so perhaps I will get to eat them this year! I would reccomend to others

If they deter slugs and snails, then they do a good job?

I'm really excited about these collars as this is my first atempt at growing Cabbages over winter and there are still a multitude of pests to be aware of. So far so good, easy to use instructions and now appreciable damage to my crop.

Did the product suit your needs? Yes
I have used these for my Cauliflower plants which were being eaten by snails and slugs and after using the collars, which have some copper content and, they are being left alone at present.

Did the product suit your needs? No
There are plenty of slug trails over the collars so I guess the copper content is not effective. Too early to review the cabbage root fly effect.

They do seem to keep the slugs at bay but the wind chucks them around and puting earth over to hold thej down makes them too small. Maybe if they were a bit bigger?
