“Instructions on the box are complicated and unclear. Two sachets were promised but only one arrived. I received a prompt e-mail in response to my request for another sachet - it has not arrived a week later. Still lots of small caterpillars in the bushes. Over to bacillus thuringiensis.”

Hi Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the results. Box moth caterpillars can be particularly challenging to control, especially during periods of heavy infestation when multiple generations are active. For the nematodes to be effective, it's important that they are applied under the right conditions and thoroughly cover the foliage where the caterpillars are feeding and then water the plants within 30 minutes afterwards to wash the nematodes off the leaves and back into the soil, where they can continue to work effectively. “Second round of treatments applied last week to counter a second wave of infestation - as anticipated from a surge in the number of moths trapped three weeks ago. This seems to have slowed progress, but still many caterpillars left to remove by hand. Will apply a second "dose" this evening as recommended and hope this will sort out the remaining pests. No more moths being trapped so hopefully this has forestalled a third generation. My hedge is still hanging on in contrast to my neighbours who have given up and removed their Box plants.”

“I'm nearly 84 y/o and I am disabled, so I find it fidley and somewhat difficult, but, I am the only person on our long street who still has a box hedge. To anyone else it must just seem an ordinary garden chore. I end up in the dark by the time I finish. It is a supurb product and I am glad to have it. This was the second treatment I have done. Keep up the good work!”

“So far so good.. First application seems to have stopped the invasion and the hedge is already beginning to show many new green shoots. Second application due tomorrow. Won't really know how effective the treatment is for a few more weeks.”

“The rush for feedback!!! Its arrived nicely packaged, the postman placed it nicely in our letterbox. I opened the package and it fits nicely in our fridge, waiting for when I have a moment to use it. So 3 stars based on that! and "yes" recommendation based on the fact it arrived!!”
