“Don’t know when they were dispatched but arrived by royal mail with other post so wasn’t kept at a low temperature I’ve used them but don’t know if they’ll work, also no information on what to expect regarding sightings etc!”

Hi, I am really sorry to see that you are unhappy with your order. It appears that the order was placed on 04.03.25 and these were requested for a date of 16.03, and these were shipped on 16.03 on a Tracked 24 service with Royal mail, this delivery time is usually 1-2 days. The nematodes are kept refrigerated before dispatch and are sent on a tracked 24 service which is a quick service, we advise that nematodes are fine in transit for up to 4 days. The nematodes should encourage the ants to move away from the nest, this can take a few weeks to have a noticeable effect, if the area is severe with the pest, a second application may be needed. “WE did exactly as it said to treat several red ant nests on our lawn but two weeks later there are new piles of fine soil close to a couple of the existing nests.”

Hi, I'm sorry to hear this. The ant nematodes won't kill the ants, they just can't tolerate them so will move away from the treated area. If you have treated the original nest only then it's likely they will just create a new nest nearby. You need to treat the whole area you want to protect. If you have any further queries please

“Might be a bit to soon,I only applied the mixture on Saturday 25th,I treated all the nests (8). With one sachet and the whole lawn with another,unfortunately after the weekend I did notice what looked like a new one,time will tell.”

Hi, Thanks for your review. Nematodes can take up to 3-4 weeks for application to take effect and show reduction in pest numbers and we advise that results may vary as it is a live product and can be influenced by a variety of external factors. “I used this product last summer with extremely good results. I have ordered again to treat my lawns and flowerbeds before the ants get active and I'm sure it'll be as successful as last year. I can thoroughly recommend these nematodes.”
