“These are okay however they do make the cage much less stable and I am not sure it will stand up to any real wind. Early days so will see how they go.”

Hi Angela, Thank you for your review and for sharing your early experience. We’re sorry to hear that the anchors haven’t improved the stability as expected. They are designed to provide additional support by securing the uprights into the ground, particularly for taller frames, so it’s not something we would usually expect. For best results, the anchors do need to be pushed approximately 30cm into the ground so they are firmly secured. Once in place, the 19mm uprights should then be dropped inside the anchors. This method is what provides the added strength and stability to the frame. Ground conditions can also make a difference. In softer or looser soil, it’s important to ensure the anchors are fully inserted and the surrounding ground is well firmed. In more exposed areas, additional bracing or guy lines can further improve stability in windy conditions. That said, we’d really like to help ensure your setup is as stable as it should be.
