“We bought a Shire Arbour. It is a very poor quality piece of rubbish! The roof has large gaps, the tongue and groove end panels all have gaps and the whole structure sways everywhere with very little ridgidity. We contacted their customer service who wanted pictures of the structure and the base, and as the base was fractionally out in one direction, and I do mean fractionally, they would not give any help or advice. Incredibly poor quality and terrible customer service. Do Not Buy!!”

I am genuinely sorry to read that you are disappointed with your Shire Arbour and that you felt let down by our customer service team. With timber structures, particularly those utilising tongue and groove panels, a completely flat and level base is absolutely vital. Even a very slight deviation can cause the timber framework to twist or sit unevenly, which unfortunately leads to the gaps you mentioned in the panels and compromises the overall rigidity of the arbour. I sincerely apologise if our team did not explain this clearly or sympathetically. When a base is found to be uneven, our advisors are strictly bound by the manufacturer's guidelines, as the structural integrity and warranty cannot be supported until the foundation is corrected. However, we completely understand your frustration, and we should always aim to offer constructive advice on how to help you resolve the base issue rather than simply turning you away. I will be reviewing your ticket with our customer service team to ensure we handle these situations more collaboratively and supportively in the future. If you are able to adjust the base so that it is completely level, please do get back in touch with us.
