“When unpacking the 3 bedside tables the fumes from the wood treatment were very potent They had obviously built up inside the packaging on the journey from Vietnam My wife felt dizzy and I had to catch her and I had a headache for some time after I reported this to your company and said there should be a warning on the packaging that this could happen and obviously we do not know what products the manufacturers use which may not be allowed in the U.K. I was told that the manufacturers had to use EU certified products but I doubt that this is checked I was also told that the items should be kept in a ventilated room for about a week before using to allow the fumes to disappear Nowhere either on the packaging or the product information does this information appear As the furniture was for bedroom use this could be very dangerous especially for anyone with breathing problems However the products look very good in the Art Deco style”
