“When reading reviews, I saw one saying it was “heavy” & now wish I had taken allot more notice as understand & fully agree with this comment. My previous kettle had a top-mounted handle so when lifting the only weight was the item plus amount of water. Annoyingly I did not consider the extra load a side-mounted handle adds (for example lifting a brick ‘from a central point’ is much easier than one end). Although the kettle does what it says “on the tin” for me it was a mistake.”
