“I had been thinking of buying an electric bike for some time. I visited a couple of my large stores locally and found a very small selection of e-bikes and uninterested staff. I then arranged to have a test ride at Fully Charged, London Bridge. The staff there were welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. After a second test ride I agreed to purchase my bike. There was a hitch in delivery as a miscommunication resulted in the wrong bike being delivered. This was quickly put right by a phone call and a member of staff delivering my bike that evening. He also came to my house to install tyre inserts I had purchased (to reduce the likely hood of punctures) and to deliver a 'Hiplock' D bike lock I had ordered and kindly attached the carry bracket to my bike. Excellent service. The bike is brilliant to ride. It is still a proper cycling experience but the electric motor enables you to ride further and negotiate hills with ease. You can change gear as you would with an ordinary bike, but also select the level of assistance you require from the battery. I found the people at Fully Charged know what they're doing and I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.”
