“Loving my Riese & Müller Roadster4 Vario. I can’t believe how light it is for an e-bike. It doesn’t feel like one in the best possible way — smooth, responsive, and genuinely fun to ride. It’s solid and planted without ever feeling bulky or heavy. The belt drive is a dream — low maintenance, super quiet, and gear changes are effortless.
The build quality is top notch. Everything feels really well thought out and premium. It’s quick off the mark and handles city riding with ease. It feels light enough to weave through traffic, while still feeling sturdy and reliable.
One of my biggest concerns with getting an expensive e-bike in London was theft, but the team really put my mind at ease. I’ve got full insurance, three different locks and anti-theft devices, plus a Knog tracker and alarm fitted, so I don’t stress when I leave it locked up. It’s a serious bit of kit, and it’s properly protected.
Battery life is easily more than enough for my day-to-day in London, and even if it did run out, it’s light enough to ride without assistance.
