“I love these chocolates and the only thing I would like Friars to consider is the little sugar topping on the top as these often fall off in transit so perhaps something else could be considered like a tiny blob of either rose or violet icing to identify each type?”

“This is approximately the 4th box I've had (possibly more!) this time the chocolates just didn't feel the same standard as previous ones, the violet flavour was quite subtle, not as flavourful as normal ( rose was lovely) and it was as though the fondant had been double dipped in the chocolate so when bitten into the top layer broke leaving another layer which got quite messy! I'm not complaining about having more chocolate but it was a little faffy - I found the fondant texture felt different in this batch too, maybe you have changed the formula for the rose and violet but these just didn't feel up to your usual standard this time”

“Package arrived with chocolates rattling inside. Very badly dispatched and chocolates were all bashed and marked and not in their casings. Top of the actual chocolate box was dented. The look of the chocolates was not good and some of them had a mere shaving of crystalised rose or violet on the top- very poor quality. Chocolates were returned and took a refund. Sl”

Hi, Thank you for your review, and we're sorry the chocolates arrived in a less than perfect condition. Upon checking the boxes it was revealed that an extra cushion pad, which protects the chocolates and stops them moving around, had been missed from the box. This has now been rectified. “My husbands favourite i treated him to them several times over the years but i find the dark chocolate far to strong and bitter. So not sure i will be buying any more.”
