“My partners favorite flavours,so I tried these for her recent birthday,must say they were delicious,and we both loved them ! She has tried untold different chocolates always Rose and Violet creams,she thinks these are probably the best ever !”

“Having purchased from this company previously, I knew what to expect when the chocolates arrived. They were exaxctly as shown in the pictures. The quality was excellent and they were delicious to eat.”

“The violet cream chocolates Friars produce now are not of the same quality and standard as they were before. As Friars state, 'we have had to adapt the chocolates recently as we could no longer source the original fondant that was used'. This means that the chocolates are now double dipped and the chocolate now has a stronger taste and it affects the balance between the fondant and chocolate, giving too much emphasis on the bitter chocolate. The consistency of the fondant is not soft and creamy as it previously was, but is more solid as if it had set. Friars again state, 'that with regard to the texture of the fondant, it is firmer the fresher it is and will soften over time. It could be the batch that you have purchased was only recently made, hence it being a bit firmer'. I beg to differ, 2 weeks after they were delivered the consistency has not changed one iota - it appears they are not fully conversant with this product These Violet creams are not enjoyable due to their consistency and taste and if you are expecting the new recipe violet creams to be the same as they were - you are going to be greatly disappointed especially when they are more than £1 each!”
