“I LOVE dark chocolate marzipan, and as my local artesan supplier had retired, I was bought this as a gift. I was very disappointed. It way, WAY too sweet. I felt that the marzipan lacked the almondy flavour and texture of the nuts themsleves, and the chocolate simply wasn't dark enough to balance our the over-sugary filling. Personal preference, maybe, but I'l have to keep looking for a replacement.”
