Hi Suzanne, We’re really sorry to hear the Rum Chocolate Truffles tasted overly sweet and a little synthetic. That isn’t what we want for our chocolates. The rum flavour should is subtle to marry with the creamy chocolate. Maybie this is just down to personal taste. Kind regards, Team Friars.co.uk

“The entire range of chocolates offered by Friars are absolutely delicious. Whilst this review is attached specifically to the Kir Royale the praise can be applied to all of the wonderful chocolates they produce. We discovered them only recently but can unreservedly say that they will be our go to luxury chocolates for the foreseeable future. Kudos to Friars.”
