“I know this is a harsh rating. The chocolates themselves are great. However, as an advent calendar, it is more or less useless. The compartments have too little space between them for the front cover to maintain structural integrity once the first few doors have been opened. From the start, opening one carries a high risk of popping the perforations on one of its neighbours. By 5 December it was just a box of chocolates with a very ragged lid. On the 8th we gave up and declared a free-for-all. I will buy Friars chocolates again. But not the advent calendar.”

“Love this advent calendar, the truffles are so yummy! Had it last year and was a bit disappointed as didn't come with a menu so couldn't tell what the chocolates were, but messaged this year and they included a menu so will enjoy having them again this year knowing what the flavours are”
