“Low score because order placed 12.4.26 is still not complete 16.6.26 due to a faulty mug. There was a lead time, made clear when I ordered so not a problem, then the product was further delayed by a hold up at customs which I was only told about when I queried non-arrival. When the set arrived there was an unacceptable rim flaw to one mug which the company agreed should not have passed inspection. They undertook to replace the mug. Unfortunately mug was sold out so I am stuck waiting for the next lead time (three to four weeks). Annoying to still have to be "on the case" and a mug down two months after ordering. A second mug in the set had an acceptable (to me) underglaze flaw - so not good for people with OCD maybe! Request to reviwiew was in danger of disappearing from my in box so have completed it now. Staff very pleasant to deal with.”

Firstly, we're very sorry that what should have been an exciting purchase has turned into such a long process.
We completely understand your frustration. While the original lead time was made clear at the point of ordering, the additional customs delays and then the issue with the faulty mug understandably extended things far beyond what either of us expected.
When you contacted us about the rim flaw, we agreed that the mug was not of an acceptable standard and arranged a replacement. Unfortunately, the design is not available to us as a single mug, so we are currently waiting for the next shipment of sets to arrive in order to split this and send a matching replacement. We appreciate that this means an even longer wait, which is frustrating for everyone involved.
If you would prefer not to wait, we would also be happy to discuss alternative mug designs that are available sooner and arrange a swap.

“The HK mugs I ordered were really nice - 70s style ceramics with drippy glaze - a little small perhaps, but that's on me for not reading the size/volume properly. I will probably keep these for hot chocolate, and then order the next size up for tea.”
