“I liked the tech, its great. But durability was so bad..screen cracked on the second day when its simply stored in the bag with my glider and harness. Unfortunately it's not covered under warranty, and very expensive to get it replaced. When you're shelling close to high end smart phone price you'd expect the screen to be somewhat impact resistant, but it ain't..it's very brittle. You'd need a hardshell protective case around it all times, protective bag that comes with it is not enough.”

“I haven't spend enough time with skytraxx 5 yet ( 1 hour short flights not a thermaling day ) but first impression are good . Setting up is easy. Wifi and Bluetooth isn't working in sometime. If you need to connect to Internet. You need to use premium connection(GSM Internet) with when you using Bluetooth. It's connect with xctrack easily but I couldn't see any farm or farnet on my xctrack Yet! You need to turn the Bluetooth off when you turn on the vario. On start up GPS connection is need little bit time to Establish? . Its not connecting the GPS like your smartphone instantly. There is a double tap option to change the screens .it's little bit slow or it's change by it self with shakes. Vario is good sensitive no delay but again you need to change the sensitivity with your liking.”
