“Having been flying for well over 30 years, I have flown quite a few wings. Some have been a delight, such as the original Gin Explorer and others not quite so wonderful (they shall remain nameless)! Last year I was flying a 2 liner C canopy but with advancing age and slower reflexes I decided that it would be sensible to "down-class" to a lightweight B class glider. I had never owned an Advance wing, but had always coveted one because of the legendary build quality. I read the reviews of the Theta ULS and watched the Flybubble video and thought that this would be the perfect wing for me: Plenty of performance, responsive, good feedback, light weight, forgiving ground handling, top notch build quality, classy durable materials, a forgiving easy to handle wing and "Big Ears" easy to pull in without requiring immense upper body strength and biceps of iron. I asked Nancy and Carlo's opinion and they agreed that this would be a good choice for me. I have flown 50 hours on it this year and to say that I am delighted would be an understatement. I have had a ball with it: Hike and Fly, Top to Bottoms, Ridge Soaring and long XC flights have all been huge fun. The wing just does exactly what you want when you pull the brake lines. I am very impressed by the butt hole seed and detritus clearance system. It seems to "Self Clean" all the time. No more pockets of debris in the wingtips. The C steering is very sensitive and the glide angle on bar extremely impressive for this class of wing. The biggest advantage is that I can forget about the wing and never worry about the potential consequences of a collapse (of which I have only had the odd wing tip flutter). This frees up your mind for observation on what is going on around you and flying the best lines. It is simply the nicest wing that I have flown with stunning performance. I would be happy to recommend this wing for someone starting their XC paragliding career after their apprenticeship on an A Class wing and to any seasoned XC pilot who is looking for a totally relaxing, but performant wing.”

“This wing is exceptional! I've now clocked up a handful of hours on a Theta ULS (27), having moved up from an old 'A' wing with 50 hours airtime since qualifying and was initially confused with the myriad of wing options and variety to choose from. The Flybubble review video gives a very accurate summary: Faultless build quality, Easy to ground handle (it is lightweight so can blow around but can be quickly tamed on the ground with the C risers, Finds lift consistently, even in marginal conditions. Thermals like a dream, turning tightly but reassuringly. Smooths out turbulence and irons out pitch oscillations to maintain composure and control. I could rave on about this wing, but it has been such an upgrade / reward to fly. In summary, this wing makes you feel closer to being the calibre of pilot you aspire to become. PS - Definitely worth purchasing the concertina bag to upgrade the original storage bag. The FlyBubble Matching service was an excellent experience and a sensible investment (although it's free). The Fly Bubble Team were my 'personal shoppers' and expert guides to investigate my personal use case and deliver a wing that felt like a hand-in-glove fit for my requirements and objectives for the future. Communication and support were also faultless and above and beyond expectations. 10/10 and a very satisfied customer!”
