“Clearwater and service was fantastic but winter experience was a waste of time”

“I love clear water its by far the best beach I have been to! Tickets came within 5 days and free delivery. Floridatix usually use grey line gator tours to clear water. The drivers are on time and brilliant. Depending where you are, you get picked up from your hotel and get dropped off to another car park where the another coach will be waiting for you. They pick you up around 8ish can't remember. The drive is about 1 and half hours to 2 hour journey. If you don't buy a ticket from floridatix or any other way it will cost quite a bit to get to clear water it think its like $90 (guessing return with grey line). If you you want to see winter and don't get this combo its about $20ish to get in. So this combo is worth it! Driver will pick you up around 5pm - 5.30pm from the prier. Driver sells cold drinks on the bus and the drinks are $1 each. Driver full of information and entertaining. It was wonderful experience to see Winter, Hope and Nicholas. It's a very small place smaller than you see on the film. Only problem I had is because I'm a wheelchair user it's quite tight to get around... and the fact cause it was busy people were standing in the wheelchair bays so it was hard to look and see winter and hope. (Also the other animals). The shop is tiny too and hard to get about especially when there are loads of people there. But I still enjoyed it. I spent about an hour here. Just so people know it is expensive there but theres a reason for it cause they rely on the money to keep the animals and they also planning to expand it. If you want to do experiences there check their website out before you book cause some experiences do certain days and check their prices also https://www.seewinter.com/ Theres a bus back from the aquarium I'm not sure how much it costs but we decided not to use it and walk (wheel) back to the beach which is about 15mins (hard to get lost). And you get to enjoy the views. You have to do clear water at least once the locals are super friendly. There are places to eat scattered about. It's relaxing and very clean place to visit. Just warning it can be very hot over there I burnt my skin within half an hour and i was using sun cream. Cause it was nearly in 100s if you have fair skin make up you use the american sun cream as you can get factor 70-100 over there. There are outside showers on the beach to get off the sand and and salt. But they aren't used to wash your hair etc. So best way is to get salt/sand off go to the public toilets and get dressed in there and wait til you get back to hotel for a shower. The prier is free til a certain point to go all the way to end of prier its less than a $1 and you can also fish there. The beach huts are not cheap they are between $20-35. But theres not much cover in clear water from the sun. If you want a hut just sit at one and a guy will come round. I loved clear water so relaxing and peaceful the locals are super friendly. No rubbish anywhere and its rare you will hear the teens swear nor mouthing off causing trouble!”

“Our tickets never arrived and had to be emailed later meaning we missed out on the freebies offered with our order. Felt the tickets were overpriced as the bus driver was selling the winter voucher for 21 dollars( roughly £17) making it very expensive for the return coach which was also used for other excursions. We were dropped at the beach for a few hours that we were not expecting so had no beach gear , driver then picked us up later to drop us at aquarium giving us 3hrs to spend which u need to split between the 2 locations, the aquarium was brilliant however we just felt we were having to rush slightly to see it all .”
