Bought x2 swim with manatees day trip and would highly recommend. Picked up from our hotel very early start but it's so worth it. They give you a breakfast packed lunch with more than enough. Pick up other passengers along the way. Once we arrived we chose to fire the wet suites. The whole boat trip was incredible. Staff were so friendly and helped us find the best spots that the other boat trips didn't. We saw many manatees and once we had finished we were given hot chocolate on the boat to warm up. Once back at shop we changed and were take for lunch at a diner which was provided in price of trip. After this we were taken to homosassa wildlife park and were given plenty of time to look throughout the park before getting back to the bus to take us back to the hotel. Such an amazing day full of great memories. Long day but an incredible one. (we went in January which is the best time to see manatees as they move into these springs in winter to stay warm)

Absolute brilliant day would highly recommend. Early start but breakfast in a bag was great with fruit, a breakfast bar, a muffin and orange juice. Went to kit up for our swim and then went on a boat with two experianced captains. We swam with a manatee which was wonderful. Them we went to get changed and had a great lunch with plenty of choice in a local diner. We then went to a state park and saw more manatees, bears, alligators and lots more. Very good value for money and a chance to see the real Florida.

We were really looking forward to this trip.... Left the villa at 6.30, waited at pick up until 25 mins after pick up time.At this point, my husband called the local number we had only to be told the trip was cancelled! Apparently they had attempted to call us the day before!!! I had one missed call the day before with no voice mail.... In my opinion the tour company didn't try very hard to contact us. Had booked this trip as a gift for my daughter's 16 th birthday. Such a let down and three disappointed kids. Not Florida tix fault but they are arranging these trips on behalf of their customers and I thought this wasn't good service. I had read great reviews about this trip but we didn't get the chance to experience it!

a great day takes most of a full day with an early start so is a hard day, remember the guy who will take you on the boat trip is expected to be tipped at the end of your day so the ticket price is not the end of your costs which was a little suprising, that aside its a very exciting day almost on the scary side as when these huge creatures come loomng out of the murk they make you breath quickly,a confident swimmer will be happier as you can get a fair way fom your boat once in the water, all in all a recommended day out from the usual park stuff.

I booked the Manatee tour with Floridatix several months in advance. On confirming my booking several days before the tour, the local operator said that Floridatix had not booked me in properly and the tour was full. I complained so they said they would squeeze me in. The night before the tour it was cancelled. Really shoddy behaviour from Floridatix, trust your holiday in Florida with a more reputable company.

I brought these tickets through Florida tix but found them a day later cheaper and they refunded the difference to me. The tour was run by Grey line in Florida when I rang them to organise my transport I was informed that the trip was fully booked and they could not fit us in. After a discussion and some pleading from me we where put on the excursion. The day was fabulous and a day I would never forget the driver of the mini bus was exceptional. Shame the administration was not
