“It's true what they say about Discovery Cove being a little slice of paradise... it's absolutely beautiful and so relaxing! Make sure you arrive early for breakfast (we got there for just after 8am) as all food and drink is included. Our dolphin swim was scheduled for late morning, which was perfect for us as it meant we could swim, snorkel and explore for a bit beforehand. Loved feeding the birds in the aviary too! The only (minor) downside of the day was the weather, as although it was sunny it was really cold at times, but then we did visit in January! Luckily the water was heated in a lot of the pools so we were fine as long as we were wearing our wetsuits.”

“Visited with my wife and another couple of friends, Sue and Roy. There was lots to do and I liked the food, drink and parking included in the pricing. Very good quality too. Although the weather was poor we had a very good day there. It would be even better for families with children. As an improvement, swimmiing with a dolphin could be included in the admission fee without having to pay more. It would get 5 stars for this.”

“Bought tickets for Christmas Day as the theme parks are full to capacity and wanted a more chilled out day. This was our 2nd visit to DC and I wanted to surprise my children so booked 4 dolphin encounters instead of last years 3, I literally hate water with a passion but you make sacrifices for your kids! We rang a few weeks before to get a cabana and were told that they were only selling cabanas with the top package so ultimately was very expensive, but after having a cabana previously we paid and again kept this secret. Arrival was as straight forward and friendly as previous year, breakfast hadn't changed a bit, sausage, bacon, egg, potatoes, yoghurt, croissants and a few other pastries plus some cereal. All in all breakfast is pleasant enough and about what you would expect. We were shown to our cabana by Kayce (I think) and she was lovely, very friendly and professional. Our encounter was booked for 1.40 but due the Dolphins not cooperating there was a delay and it was about 2 hours later. After seeing the photos from last years encounter I was keen to have a photos of myself included so braved the water, and this is where my issues began. Last year I could actually hear the photographer interact with people getting good pictures and checking that they were good, this year the photographer didn't even say hello never mind anything else!!! So everyone had their pictures took and we exited the water. Afterwards we went to select our 8 photographs and struggled to find 8 that we liked...interesting the photographer just stood there and again never said a word it was the lady who videoed it who explained how to pick pictures etc. So after being shocked and then really upset about the pictures we left the park. The following day I emailed DC and explained how upset I was and their response wasn't very good to be honest. I didn't realise they don't guarantee that you will have 'nice' photos but just photos where you can see your face!!!! So needless to say none of the pictures we paid a fortune for have even left the container they were put in. Unfortunately due to the photographers attitude and then their customer service I won't be returning to DC this year, and I would be very wary recommending paying for photographs from photographer who clearly do not care about their job! Which is a shame as DC is a beautiful and relaxing place and until our visit in December would have recommended it to anyone but now I'm not so sure that they live upto their statements. Very sad Christmas Day :(”

“Would definately reccommend floridatix for any tickets . Booked last minute, tickets were sent out the next day. I was very impressed with this service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had a wonderful time in discovery cove with my family, extremely helpful and polite staff.”

“This may be expensive, but worth every penny. This was the highlight of the holiday. The complete Discovery Cove experience is superb. Swimming with the Dolphins will live in my memory and my daughter's memory for ever. I would do this at the end of the holiday as nothing apart from the Magic Kingdom Frozen Palace light and firework show will match it. Get there early, we arrived at 8am and the queues were already forming. No matter what age you are, this will take your breath away.”

“The highlight of our holiday. The staff couldn't do enough for us and they made my Birthday really special. The food was excellent and the whole day was lovely.”
