I bought the tickets with swim for my new wife and I and its safe to say we weren't disappointed. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I had also purchased the elite package which included a cabana, photos package and gift bag. When the bouy was delivered by the dolphin the staff did as much as they could to make the day as special for us allowing extra photos to be taken etc. A must for anyone visiting Orlando, and access to SeaWorld and Aquatica thrown in too.

We booked for a party of 6... 4 swimmers and 2 non-swimmers. On the original day of our booking, we arrived at Discovery Cove to be advised that there were storms forecast for later that afternoon. The advisor said that if we stayed there was the chance we would miss our swim, as they close the lagoons when there is thunder/lightning. We opted to change to another day, when the forecast was better, and this was re-booked for us at no cost. This is why I would recommend booking the day at Discovery Cove for early in your holiday, so that in the event you need to re-book, you have time to do so. We were then issues passes which could be used at the other Seaworld attractions, as we had booked the Ultimate experience, so we visited Aquatica for a few hours instead. On the second day at DC, we arrived and were shown our way around the park, and advised on meal times etc. The food was of a high quality, and there were options to suit all preferences and appetites - the food and drink is truly unlimited! There was plenty to do, and see, including a fresh-water pool and lazy river, a salt-water reef (which has thousands of fish in there) and an aviary where you can feed the birds by hand (at no cost). The swim itself was also an amazing experience, with professional trained handlers as well as a photographer and videographer. The photos were a little prices, but there are lots of package options, and the quality of the photos and video were fantastic. Other than that, and the well-stocked gift shops, which are expected, this was a truly all-inclusive day. We would definitely revisit. A quick note also on the other Seaworld parks - all were very clean and tidy with helpful staff. The staff at Aquatica were extremely professional and took safety very seriously, and the shows at Seaworld were amazing. There was also lots to see and do at Busch Gardens, with a good mix of thrill rides as well as those for the little ones, and of course the wildlife. All in all, a fantastic quality ticket, highly recommended.

Tip.... Go to discovery cove the day you arrive and validate your paper tickets regardless what day of your trip you booked discovery cove. The hard plastic ID you get then becomes your ticket for all seaworld attractions plus Busch gardens ( well worth a visit if you like coasters and great for animal lovers too) for 14 consecutive days, but you also get free parking for the 14 days as well. If your driving, a saving around $17 per theme park. Review........ I would give it more stars I could. As you can tell by my title, I loved this place. It was an early start, 7.30 am, but the day flew by. We started with breakfast which was pretty good, picked up the mandatory wet suits with snorkel and mask and headed for the "beach". It's a large bay area with lots of sun beds overlooking the dolphin enclosure. So even if you don't pay the exta for the dolphin swim experience, there is ample opportunity to see the dolphins in action. We headed on to the lazy river, which did feel like swimming down a tropical river, with shallows opening out into deep pools. If you just go with the flow, it takes around 20 mins to get round. It was then time for the main event, the dolphin swim. After a quick presentation, it was of to the lagoon. Guided by very interesting and experienced trainers, in groups of up to 8, you get up close with the dolphins ending with a short 20 metre or so tow hanging on to their dorsal fin. The whole thing was only around 25 mins, but I still thought it well worth the extra money. Lunch was good as were all the refreshments and snacks throughout the day. I would say, to have the same the food and drink alone would easily come to around £120 for 4 in any other park, and we didn't really tear the a@#s out of it. But the best of all, imo, was the reef. Snorkeling with all the fish and rays, Its amazing, I could probably have done that all day. Don't forget the monkeys and the otters As you can probably tell, I feel discovery cove was worth the money spent, especially since you get 14 days of sea world, aquatica and Busch gardens aswell. Can't weight to go back.
