“I tried it on concrete roof tiles and the results were pretty good after a few days of no rain. But i also tried it on block paving on my drive where ils gone dark didn’t make much difference. I also tried it on our wooden fence hoping that it removes green moss and growth , it didn’t make any difference either, so it’s only proved to be a good product for removing moss and algae from roof tiles”

This item is a biocide, so slow acting. If you have seen a result on a roof within a few days this is a good sign as we would not expect to see too much change for a week or two. If the block pavers have darkened this product may not remove it as it may be lichen. If you allow a few weeks for the product to work you may start to see a change (but Floorseal Black Spot Remover Plus will remove lichen regardless). The same would be said for the fence panels, we would not expect to see changes for 7-14 days. The action of the product is noted within the technical data sheet located on the product page and user guides. Please allow some time for changes for occur - the product will stay active for months after application.

“I used Roof Cleaner bio a year ago on my roof which is 25 years old and has Redland Concrete tiles. They were covered in moss and the surface was exfoliating a fine sand. I scraped off the worst of the moss and then applied Bio Wash - left it for a week and then applied roof seal. One year on and the roof looks perfect - no moss and a minimal amount of exfoliation. I was fully satisfied with the reult and have started work on the other side of the house roof. The roof has been cleared of moss and I have just applied Bio Wash. It was easy to apply with a normal garden sprayer and I got good covcerage because the bio wash is diluted - I diluted it 4 water to one bio wash.”
