“BRICK ACID - USED ON 1930s BRICKWORK, IT CLEANED THE BRICK FACES AS WAS REQUIRED, BUT DID LIGHTEN THE DYE OF THE ORIGINAL CHARCOAL POINTING BY PRESUMABLY REMOVING OR NEUTRALISING SOME OF THE DYE WHICH IS NOW PALER! HOWEVER, SOME OF MY POINTING IS TOO DARK, SO THIS WILL BE USEFUL IN LIGHTENING IT TO MATCH THE REST. IT HAS REMOVED RESIDUE FROM THE BRICK FACES LEFT BY PLASTERERS WHO REPAIRED THE RENDER/PEBBLEDASH ABOVE WHICH LEACHED ONTO IT WHICH IS THE REASON FOR THE PURCHASE. DELIVERY OF PRODUCT WAS TIMELY.”
