“Concerned before I made the purchase. Expensive but economical - goes a long way. Clear liquid turns the grey back to black!! 2 of us working together, we used a sponge radiator roller then 10 minutes later began wiping up any excess. It looks great. Get plenty of cloths ready. We found the best way was to remove the majority with one cloth and then mop up any remainder with another. Make sure you wipe all excess off to avoid patchiness. Don't bother trying to clean the cloths afterwards. They set like concrete even under water. Just bin them. The biggest problem is the British weather. Put on between 10 and 20 degrees without sunshine and no rain for 48 hours. It was a challenge. Don't forget to give the area a really good clean first and allow it to dry before you get going. My knees took 2 days to recover. A little over a year later and the black limestone is silver again. Last year I wiped my nearly dry cloth on a slab and this stayed darker than the others so I thought I'd give it a go on all the silver slabs a year on. More hard work for the knees. I just used a slightly damp cloth (damp with the restorer that is). A litre went a long way and look good. Took a few days to dry and was tacky for a while. This was probably down to the cooler weather. We'll see what happens. It's very expensive and I had hoped for longer lasting better results from the start.”
