“The wood is dry, arrived well packaged, and the l8gs are pretty standard sized. This is great as otherwise we spend time cutting them to fit the wood burner.”

“Very pleased with the wood I ordered, very friendly and helpful. The wood turned up on the right day, with good notice as to time. The actual product, although expensive, burns very well, perhaps too well but that is because it is kiln dried. Having lived in France, the wood is not kiln dried but left to season before burning and is very much cheaper. (1m3 = €65.00). Firewood Fund were very competitive regarding price and I will reorder with them.”

“I am very disappointed by the quality of the bag (0.8 m3) of Kiln Dried logs received. I paid for Hardwood dried logs and received at least 50% of softwood in my bag. This has been checked by a neighbour who was helping me. I needed the wood by I hope that the customer services will do something about it. I send a picture of some of the wood with the review. Thank you.
I have to update my review because after using the samples of what I called "softwood", I realised that it did burn as long as the "dark" hardwood. The wood as promised by Firewood Fund is of good quality. Sorry about that. Well done Firewood Fund for selling a great product!”
Hi Lydia, we are sorry to learn that you are disappointed with the logs. We have reviewed the photo sent and can confirm that the log bottom left is from the Ash hardwood species. Please be assured we only supply mixed hardwoods; typically Ash, Beech and Oak. Please note some hardwood species are denser than others. The logs may also appear light because they have been kiln dried for 36 hours. Please let us know if you'd like to discuss this further.

“Logs were delivered before the time they said they would be which was wonderful because I did not worry about logs for the holiday. I purchased a bag of logs and expected I would need to wait until I had finished using the last logs of my previous purchase before I could access these new logs, hence worried about space on my driveway. The person delivering the logs was incredibly helpful and helped me move the final bits from the last bag into my garage and even took away the old pallet, leaving room on my drive for the new bag of logs. The logs are a perfect mix; some burn more quickly to help start a fire and others are thick and long-burning to keep the room warm. I could not more highly recommend this company, for both the attitude of the delivery person and also the quality of the logs themselves.”

“Good mix of larger and smaller logs, although I think this bag has slightly more of the larger pieces which we will need to split down. The wood is of mixed types but having used this before we know it provides an efficient fire with minimal smoke.
