“I was not expecting so much bark and lichen on the logs. There is no way that these logs were put through any debarking process. Some rotten wood was also in the bag. Not really what was expected of a premium priced supply.”
Hi John, thanks for the review. At no point do we advertise that our logs will be supplied bark free. A vast majority of customers are happy with logs supplied with the bark on. From looking at the photos supplied the logs appear to be well dried (can tell from the colour). Please be assured the logs will burn well and put out a-lot of heat. With regards to the rotten logs, please can you email us some photos to orders@firewoodfund.co.uk. We will then review the photos and work towards a resolution.
“The logs are always great quality. I order these every, this time though although delivered on time the outside packages was covered in curry sauce and the smell was revolting. I had to remove the outer packaging and dispose of it the bin it may have been an accident I’m sure but you’d think they might dispatch the logs with clean outer packaging”
Hi Karen, thanks for the repeat order. It is very unlikely that we would have despatched the logs with curry sauce on. We suspect something must have happened in transit.
