“I found it difficult to judge how long to cook it and had to pop it back in the oven again to get it properly cooked. I did need to watch out for lead buckshot which was presented but expected. The quality of the meat varied depending on the bird which was a bit disappointing. Especially as there was an overall strong flavour of liver that permeated all the meats. I'm no expert but it could have been due to a bird not being hung long enough? Relatively disappointing.”
