Free Range Bronze Frenchbeer Turkey (5-6kg) Reviews

4.9 Rating 42 Reviews
Read Field & Flower Reviews

Our Frenchbeer turkeys are slowly grown, then slaughtered on farm, dry plucked and game hung to both enrich the breast meat and tenderise the leg meat. This process also makes sure there's fat under the skin, and because of game hanging, this moisture is locked in for cooking, resulting in deliciously moist breast meat. All of our Whole Turkeys and Turkey Crowns come with giblets in a separate bag and a pop-up timer.Well-known for a rich flavour and tender, moist meat, these turkeys are reared slowly on a whole food diet by our farmer John on his family farm in Devon. Free to roam, foraging as they please and housed safely overnight in small groups, the care and attention put into rearing the birds results in a flavour like no other.

Fabulous meaty turkey with delicious flavour. The cooking instructions were perfect and the "golf peg" timer was very handy. I also made giblet gravy thanks to the recipe booklet so nothing was wasted!

My whole family agreed that this was the best Christmas dinner ever, and a lot of that was due to a super tender and flavourful turkey. I found the little pop-up thing to tell you when it was cooked very reassuring too! This was our first Christmas getting meat from Field and Flower, but we will be doing this every year from now on.

Thank you for another delicious turkey. It was moist and tasty, cooks so much quicker than a non free range. Together with the excellent ham we got from you also, it made a wonderful Turkey and ham pie with the leftovers.
