Our wild venison haunch joint is delivered off the bone and is a beautifully lean alternative to your regular Sunday roast. We recommend searing the meat in a pan first before transferring it to the oven. If you want to make sure it stays juicy, we recommend putting some red wine in the bottom of the roasting pan and wrapping the joint in streaky bacon. It’s fantastic with a side of mashed celeriac and seasonal veg. Our wild game is sourced from English estates. Our butchers carefully prepare the game after a short period of hanging. We deliver all our wild game fresh so it can be frozen. Please be aware feathered game may contain shot.
