Our free-range chicken mince is extra lean (with approx. 5% fat content)and packed full of healthy flavoursome protein! It’s a versatile cut which can be used in place of our pork, beef or lamb mince for those looking for a healthier option. It’s wonderful flavour makes it a great addition to stir fries or noodle dishes. We recommend rolling these into tasty meatballs with a dash of soy sauce, fish sauce, lemongrass, mint, coriander and red onion. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes – they are simply delicious. Our chicken is reared in truly free-range conditions by Stuart Perkins at Castlemead Farm. Stuart is a third-generation farmer and keeps his chickens in small flocks of 200 so he can focus on the highest standards of welfare. The chickens are never given antibiotics and are slow grown, living twice the length of a supermarket bird.
