Pork Mince (500g) Reviews

5 Rating 16 Reviews
Read Field & Flower Reviews

Our premium Pork Mince is made with our finest free-range pork cut from the shoulder, belly and leg and has approximately 20% fat content. It's packed with flavour and is coarse cut which makes it perfect for making meatballs and burgers. The secret to our exceptional pork lies in the meticulous care taken on farm. Sourced from passionate free-range pig farmers in England, our pigs are slowly reared on a natural diet. They are truly free-range meaning they are born and reared in fields all year round with space to roam and straw bedded huts for shelter. This care contributes to pork with incredible depth of flavour and a distinct meaty texture and goes a long way in supporting our British free-range pork industry.

Makes lovely meatballs - I season mine with a little fennel seed. Serve with tomato sauce on bulgar wheat and a side salad.

I use pork mince regularly; as we seldom eat beef I use it for all the things I used to do with 'mince' - shepherd's pie, meat loaf, hamburgers, spag bol. It costs less than beef too. Also very good in a 'pork and beans' (french beans) recipe from Thailand, where you only need 10 oz meat for 4 people.

Not too fat and full of taste. Together wirh the beef mince makes a delicious bolognaise.

Pork can be quite dry, but this mince is tender and moist and makes delicious meatballs.

I often use this for a caramelised Vietnamese pork dish which is super-easy and scrumptious.
