LIMITED AVAILABILITY The name Osso Bucco is Italian and translated literally means 'bone with a hole' playing reference to the marrow hole that is at the top centre of these shank cuts. If you've never had veal before, it's quite pale in colour with the subtle flavour of mild beef (it's actually lower in fat too) and once cooked, is really tender. Two per pack. Our veal is high-welfare British Rose veal sourced from West Country farmers. We are passionate about promoting veal at field&flower to help the dairy industry. We hand prepare and send out all our meat fresh so it can be frozen.
