Our steak and kidney mix is a combination of our delicious beef steak and kidneys from free-range, grass-fed pigs. It’s a classic mix that works well in pies, stews and casseroles. We like to make a stew with this mix, browning off the meat first before adding beef stock and wine. It’s simply the best when topped with homemade cheese and herb dumplings. Sourced from a handful of farms in Somerset, our certified West Country beef is grass-fed, free-range and aged for a minimum 28 days. The meat contains high amounts of omega-3s and is loaded with vitamins and minerals due to the grass-fed diet. We hand-butcher our beef using traditional techniques.
